Nursing Annual Report
The Nursing department at Parkland has seen incredible achievements. One worth noting was the attainment of the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) Pathway to Excellence designation in July 2018 and successfully re-designated in January 2023.
Years of hard work across all levels of nursing culminated in the successful attainment of the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) Pathway to Excellence designation. This is an incredible achievement for Parkland. We can be proud in knowing that we are the first, large, public academic medical center with a correctional health component, to attain Pathway designation.
