Workforce Development High School Summer Internship Program

The Workforce Development High School Summer Internship Program is an eight-week, paid summer internship program that introduces Dallas high school students to careers and employment opportunities in the healthcare industry. This program, launched by Parkland’s Workforce Development department, prepares motivated students to become the leaders of tomorrow. 

Participants will receive first-hand experience in a professional environment to help prepare them for their future career interests, allowing for an invaluable educational opportunity.

Applications for this program are due March 15, 2024.

• Applications are available in December for next summer's program.
• This program is conducted in person. A remote or hybrid approach is not offered at this time.
