Parkland has a longstanding commitment to the inclusion and utilization of business owned by minorities and women. The goal of our Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprise (M/WBE) Supplier Diversity Program is to seek mutually beneficial business relationships with diverse companies that are committed to delivering high quality and performance excellence; while providing equal access to Parkland’s purchasing opportunities. To that end, Parkland has established the Inclusion and Supplier Diversity Department to ensure the ongoing development of an inclusive supply chain that truly reflects the demographics and values of our employees, suppliers and patients in every facet of our procurement, contracting and bidding processes.

Mission Statement
Our mission is to involve qualified Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprises (M/WBEs) to the greatest extent feasible in Parkland’s procurement of goods, services, commodities, equipment, and construction.

Goals

• Utilize eligible M/WBEs to enhance the capacity of small businesses
• Increase the number of competitively awarded contracts to M/WBEs
• Promote the use of M/WBEs in Parkland’s contracting and subcontracting opportunities
• Encourage the growth and development of M/WBEs
• Ensure non-discrimination in the award and administration of Parkland’s procurement activities
