Family Planning Outreach
Parkland’s Family Planning Outreach program seeks to connect youth and young adults in the community with the quality family planning and reproductive health services provided in the Parkland Women’s Health Centers.
Services include:
- Birth Control
- Physical examinations
- Screening pap smears
- Testing for sexually transmitted infections (STI)
- HIV screening
- Pregnancy testing
- Immunizations
Community Outreach
The Parkland Family Planning Outreach team provides family planning and reproductive health information and education in the community. They attend health fairs and events, as well as teach health education classes. Class topics include:
- Reproductive life planning
- Birth control
- Preconception and pregnancy
- STI and HIV Prevention
- Reproductive health and hygiene
- Sexual Consent
