Dr. Emmet J. Conrad Collegiate Internship Program
Named after Dr. Emmett J. Conrad, a renowned Dallas physician and educational advocate, the Conrad Collegiate Internship Program at the University of North Texas at Dallas aims to provide college students with mentors, character-building opportunities and community service projects. Established in 1993, college students in the Senatorial District 23 have the opportunity to secure and actively participate in internships. The program has provided paid summer internship opportunities for more than 2,500 students with viable employment experience in their major or field of interest. Interns are assigned to positions at area hospitals, city and state agencies, law firms, accounting, public relations companies, area corporations and other industries in their specific areas of interest.
