    PGY1: University Health
    Current Practice: Dr. Alvarez has a background in service to under and uninsured populations as a Hospitalist Clinical Pharmacy Specialist, an Associate Director of Pharmacy for Inpatient and Ambulatory Clinical Services and currently serves as the Director of Innovation and Value at Parkland Health.

    PharmD: Midwestern University
    Current Practice: Dr. Appleberry-Recker serves as the Director of Ambulatory Pharmacy, Clinical, and Specialty Services. In this role, she oversees all ambulatory services in Parkland Health’s Anderson clinic, Moody clinic, Employee pharmacy and Central fill replenishment center.

    PharmD: University of Florida College of Pharmacy
    Current Practice: Dr. Banks is the manager for the inpatient decentral pharmacists who service medicine, surgery, and the emergency department. Dr. Banks is also involved with formulary management and coordinates the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee activities.

    Current Practice: Dr. Berge serves as the Vice President of Pharmacy Services and oversees all aspects of Inpatient, Ambulatory and Correctional Health Pharmacy Services.

    PGY1 Pharmacy Residency: Veterans Affairs Medical Center 
    Current Practice: Dr. Johnson has spent the past 35 years providing healthcare services to the underserved in Dallas County.  Dr. Johnson has been the recipient of many awards including the 2010 Texas Pharmacy Leadership Award.  She is a fellow of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists and continues to be an advocate and active member in the pharmacy profession. Dr. Johnson has been appointed to the ASHP Pharmacy Executive Leadership Alliance Advisory Panel, the ASHP Task Force on Racial Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, and serves as a member of the Board of Directors for ASHP.

    Current Practice: Dr. Jones is one of the ambulatory pharmacy liaisons between Population Health, Finance and IT.

    PGY2 Health System Pharmacy Administration & Leadership Residency: Parkland Health
    Current Practice: Dr. McNulty is one of two Medication Safety Officers at Parkland Health. Current activities include managing patient safety events, participating in quality improvement projects, and facilitating medication safety committee meetings. Dr. McNulty serves as the Residency Program Coordinator for the PGY1/PGY2 HSPAL residency and a preceptor for pharmacy residents and students. Outside of Parkland Health, Dr. McNulty is an active leader within ASHP’s New Practitioner Forum and actively participates in Vizient’s Quality Safety and Compliance Committee.

    PGY2 Ambulatory Care / Internal Medicine Residency: Texas Tech School of Pharmacy
    Current Practice: Dr. Moss serves as the Pharmacy Manager of Ambulatory Care Clinical Services and has experience in developing and implementing ambulatory care services. Practice areas at Parkland Health include diabetes, hypertension, asthma/COPD, dyslipidemia, rheumatology, GI/Liver, anticoagulation, and pain management. Dr. Moss serves as the Residency Program Director for the PGY2 Ambulatory Care Pharmacy Residency at Parkland Health.

    PharmD: Rio Grande College of Pharmacy
    Current Practice: Dr. Mozaffari serves as the Pharmacy Manager of Investigational Drug Services and manages all aspects of operational, clinical, data extraction, compliance, and finance. Her responsibilities include overseeing all clinical trial activities for inpatient, outpatient, and oncology services to ensure compliance with FDA, GCP, IRB, sponsors, JACHO, CMS and institutional regulations. Dr. Mozaffari is an active member of TSHP, ACRP, and serves as a pharmacy preceptor for pharmacy interns and residents.

    Current Practice: Dr. Omorodion serves as the Pharmacy Manager of IV Sterile and Hazardous Compounding at Parkland Health. He is responsible for ensuring IV sterile compounding suites and personnel are compliant with USP Chapter <797> and <800> regulations as well compliance with Texas State Board of Pharmacy regulations. Dr. Omorodion also provides clinical support for the interdisciplinary nutrition support team.

    PGY1 Pharmacy Residency: Veterans Affairs Puget Sound Health Care System  
    Current Practice: Dr. Papillion serves as the Director of Pharmacy Services for Acute Care and Oncology Services. She specializes in leadership, team development, and strategic planning. With extensive experience in both hospital and ambulatory settings, she has successfully led and supported various operational and clinical programs. A strong advocate for patient-centered and cost-effective pharmacy care, Dr. Papillion is dedicated to enhancing healthcare outcomes and ensuring optimal patient experiences.

    PharmD: Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center
    Current Practice: Dr. Salzar is one of two Medication Safety Officers at Parkland Health covering all areas of pharmacy including Inpatient, Ambulatory and Correctional Health Services. Dr. Salzar helps to support the pharmacy team in preventing patient harm from medication errors and collaborating on performance improvement initiatives.

    PGY2 Critical Care Residency: University of Tennessee Medical Center
    Current Practice: Dr. Smith serves as the Clinical Pharmacy Manager for the acute care hospital and oncology. She leads a team of clinical pharmacists and clinical pharmacy specialists. Dr. Smith has previously served as a critical care clinical pharmacy specialist and as a pharmacy operations manager. Her areas of interest included quality improvement, clinical informatics, multidisciplinary collaboration, and the continued advancement of clinical pharmacy services.

    PharmD: Xavier University of Louisiana
    Current Practice: Dr. Unachukwu serves as a director of pharmacy services and over sees operations management of revenue cycle, 340B program, procurement, drug shortages, patient assistance programs and informatics. She is an active member of ASHP, THSP, MSHP, and precepts students and residents with hospital rotations.
