The Specialty Behavioral Health Clinic provides comprehensive examination to diagnose any number of emotional, behavioral, or personality disorders. We focus on a wide range of issues with patients who present with medical complexity.

Specialties

  • Geriatric Psychiatry
    Our physicians are board certified geriatric psychiatrists who specialize in the diagnosis of Alzheimer’s and Dementia, in addition to general psychiatric problems. They provide evaluations, family meetings, clinical consultations and medication management.
  • Women's Mental health
    The Women’s Mental Health serves women who receive their prenatal and postnatal care here at Parkland. Our services include evaluation, medication management and referral to community resources. A woman is referred to our clinic if there is concern for postpartum depression or other psychiatric illnesses. As well, we assist women who have had a miscarriage, abortion, or stillbirth or whose infants are in a special care nursery. A provider referral is needed for an appointment.
  • Transitional Age Youth
    Transitional age youth (TAY) describe a discrete developmental period for people ages 16-27 in a wide variety of systems of care. TAY face unique developmental tasks, social considerations, and biological changes that are vital to understand when considering treatment.
  • Addiction's Bridge Clinic
    At the Addiction’s Bridge program, we provide medication management, group therapy, individual therapy, pharmacy specialty, social work services, and peer navigation.
