Virtual Pilot
Welcome to the pilot for Parkland’s Employee Telehealth Services Pilot Program.
This is a free, convenient and easy-to-use telehealth service that lets employees with routine healthcare needs see providers in a safe, private and online visit from your computer or mobile device, instead of an in-person visit at a clinic.
Starting June 19, you can use the new telehealth service for three months.
How it works

Call 214-266-8777 to request a telehealth appointment.

A Parkland Nurse will listen to your healthcare needs and schedule a call with a provider, usually within a couple of hours.

At your appointment time, log into MyChart and join the virtual waiting room.
Your Parkland provider will joint he visit and get you back to well!

Q: I wasn’t invited to participate in the pilot, but I’m an employee and I’d like to try out the service. Can I still do that?
A: As long as you have medical insurance through Parkland’s health plan and have been seen at Parkland at least once, yes. Also, you will receive a satisfaction survey at the end of your visit. We would love to hear your feedback.
Q: I’m having technical issues and can’t access the service. Help!

Q: What can I expect during a visit?
A: After calling the Nurse Line to schedule a telehealth appointment, you will access your visit through MyChart and follow the steps listed on www.parklandhealth.org/VirtualPilot to connect to your telehealth appointment. Once your visit is complete, a satisfaction survey will pop up asking you about your experience. Please take a few minutes to complete this! Also, at the end of the 3 month pilot, you will receive a final survey asking you in more detail about your experience using the telehealth service.

A: As long as they have been seen at Parkland at least once, then yes, they can use this service.
Q: When will the full employee telehealth service be available to Parkland employees?
A: After the 3 month pilot period is over, we will use feedback received to modify and refine a full telehealth service. At this time, we do not have a specific launch date for that service. However, you will receive notification from Corporate Communications and the Benefits Department prior to this being fully implemented.
Q: If I have more questions or want to give additional feedback after my visit is complete, who should I contact?
