Dallas County Jail
Parkland’s Correctional Health Services provides high quality physical and behavioral healthcare services for inmates at Lew Sterrett – Dallas County Jail.
Patients at Dallas County Jail are served by our team of on-site medical providers, registered nurses, mental health liaisons and pharmacists, among other clinical staff. We care for nearly 120,000 patients each year through services that include health screenings, diabetes management, dental care, HIV services and suicide prevention. We are the proud recipient of the Texas Hospital Association’s 2013 Excellence in Community Service Award for the healthcare services provided at the jail.
While Parkland Correctional Health Services is committed to providing excellent healthcare for patients in the jail system, we are unable to provide families information about patients in our care. If you have questions about your loved one, please contact the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office at 214-653-2621.
