Community Action Network – Birth Equity (CAN-BE)

The Parkland Healthy Start Community Action Network Birth Equity (CAN-BE) is a collaborative initiative dedicated to improving maternal and infant health outcomes by addressing racial and social disparities in birth equity.

2025 Focus Areas:

• Food Security & Accessibility by ensuring all families have reliable access to fresh, nutritious, and affordable food.
• Reproductive Justice & Equity to empower individuals with the resources, care, and support needed to make informed decisions about their health and futures.
